A drawing inspired by the American gothic genius Edgar Allen Poe's masterpiece 'The Raven'. The poem is an exploration of the spectral memory of lost love and death and heavy depression associated with loss given form by the relentless black bird. I massively recommend hearing the Vincent Price / Basil Rathbone reading of it! So haunting and moving in equal measure.
